Default Chrome Calipers

2014 FLHTK Ultra Limited.
Wanting to start chroming out the front end.

I have not seen or been able to find anything comparing getting the stock calipers chromed (or exchanged) vs something like from PM or other high quality aftermarket chrome calipers.

Are there any issues with them for ABS?
Price points can be pretty close so is it just aesthetics?
Better performance from one to the other?

I would assume brake pads are LESS available for aftermarket so probably good to have a spare set.

These are exchanged chrome calipers from ***** Shiny done in 2014 on a FLHTK. No issues with performance, functionality, ABS...they are stock calipers that have been chromed for a lot cheaper than aftermarket or HD chrome. Same with my rear pulley, oh and same with my wheels...all done at the same time. The finish on the chrome is excellent, not a single blemish on any of it. And no, I do not work for the above mentioned company. I had never heard of them prior to 2014 but I would definitely use them again. Good luck

Thanks - I had heard of ***** Shiny, but not seen anything they had done on anyone's scoot. I know PM does an awesome job, as I'm sure AN does as well.

It looks like VA is going to do away with the tax sticker next year (but will still charge the yearly property tax!!). After seeing my friends, I am not sure if I will go with chrome or red calipers once the sticker plate is removed. Here is a pic of my Sport Chrome exchange front end (with Arlen Ness uppers).

***** Shiny is the man!!! Great price Great quality and easy to deal with. Shipped em out super fast and they were packaged ridiculously well!!! That alone told me that time and effort was put into my set of calipers. The exchange deal is cheaper than buying aftermarket or HD. His work is top notch IMO
