I put the FillerZ on my '17 Road Glide Ultra.

Yes, that is a model they are listed to fit. I asked about ppl who appear to be installing on models they are not listed to fit...

How did you install fillerz? Can you show me a photo? My understanding is they fit in the saddlebag/fender struts, but that is covered by the rear fender fascia on the Rushmore Street and Road Glides/Specials.

Not understanding how it's done.

Thanks

I put the CD's in the front, they look great. I got 1156's for the rear and of course they where the wrong ones. Not sure how that got messed up.

My signals flash correctly timed but my display flashes quickly. Not sure about that.

Did you follow the learning process in the instructions? Your BCM needs to learn the lower resistance of the LCD's.

Definitely not enough. If I recall, the instructions I read said 3 minutes, not three times. Try longer. That should fix it.

Understood. I looked at fitment on the CD website as well as fitment for the HD equivalent and neither lists the RGS or SGS. I looked at the parts catalog that I purchased at the same time as the service manual and it indicates the same part number (90200499 Support, saddlebag) for all touring frames. I looked at your photo in another thread and couldn't determine how the facia (filler panel) was attached. If the support is the same for all frames, I would think the filler could be removed and you could the mount either the HD or CD lights.

True, the facia could be removed I suppose, but then I lose the fender tip light. Don’t think I want to do that. I’m working on a solution for the plasma rods which I think will work for me. Just wanted to make sure I was understanding the fillerz correctly. Don’t think they are for me. The flatz however look like they’d fit nicely on the facia. Once I get the plasma’s installed i’ll decide if I want more.
