Default Thoughts on Rushmore seats

First off let me say that I absolutely love my 2015 Limited, it is so far the best bike I have ever owned. I have never been able to get comfortable on any stock seat without having tailbone pain within an hour, but I have completed several day long rides now with the stock seat on my Rushmore and its awesome. I had sent my last seat to MCC to get the normal lowering and tailbone mods and was planning on doing this seat the same way. At this point though, I am super pleased with my stock seat. I am interested in hearing other's thoughts on these seats.

I thought the stock seat on my '14 (should be the same as yours) was quite comfortable but I went to a Hammock to get a bit more cushion for my wife. I like the Hammock even more.

I really like the stock seat on mine.

The stocker on my 2016 Special was adequate, at least for the rider. Passenger left a lot to be desired.

And of course, the stocker doesn't hold a candle to my Corbin.

The stock seat on a Rushmore Street Glide Special is OK for the rider but not so good for a passenger. My wife said it was like sitting on a 2x4.

I'm not portly or wide in the hips. The stocker made me feel like I was sitting on my nutz and GF (110) got antsy in the passenger seat.

I can ride 14 hours, with no pain. Adding the back rest was a big part in achieving that all-day comfort.

I rode the stocker 4100 miles round trip to Sturgis this year and had no issues. Its the best stock seat I've had.

I rode with the stock seat, 16 RGS, over 4700 miles to & from Sturgis with no problems.

I also like the seat on my Ultra2015. I changed seats on the Road Kings I have owned, but never on the Ultras, even on my 2007. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

Side question for you: I noticed you had RCX slip-ons. How do you like them. I saw them at the HD dealer here in Charleston. They looked pretty good. Do they have that deep rumble sound like Rush mufflers?
