Default Anybody try the Road Zeppelin seat?

Still on a seat hunt. Was at the dealership today and looking at the demo version of the Road Zeppelin seat. Looks nice, but way expensive.

Anybody out there have one, had one, wouldn't have one?

Likes, dislikes?

Thx.

Only way to go! Been using one since 2009 and on the long runs you can get that extra 50 miles out of your butt - while the others are twitching in there seats. My wife thinks its the best also.....

I have one, nice on road trips but around town & short hops i prefer the stock seat on my 2015 rgs. When aired up it sits you up higher.

Love it - pricey but outstanding comfort and adjustable while you ride.

I do not own one....yet. But I have used a demo one for a about a week and loved it. Keep an eye on E-Bay and Craigslist and the touring for sale forum here. You can find them every so often for less than retail. When I am ready I will purchase one, either brand new from HD or used from a forum member or e-bay

Tried one, but at 5'7" it sat me too high even on my low. The feeling was very uncomfortable for short runs around town doing frequent stop and go's.... Was comfortable, but not worth me getting.

I had the old version on my '99 Ultra and loved it. When I traded for my '14 Limited, that seat wouldn't fit. I tried the version that fits the late model bikes and didn't care much for it. I never could get it adjusted right. The new version doesn't have as many zones as the old version.

I even bought one for $95, everything worked, had one little tear, no biggie. Rode it for a few weeks but like I said, too high. I bought it because I was going to ride to Austin to visit son, and take my solo with me. Swap it while there, then ride the Zep back. Ended up not going, sold the Zep seat for $300. cha-ching

I Recently bought one from a member here on the forum. I am short legged and have a little bit of an issue at stops just make sure I have all of the air out when I am in town and infact I find myself not pumping it up until my butt starts getting tired. I love this thing, it is big and is like sitting in your lounge chair at home but my butt thanks me on every ride.
