Default drive belt loose again????

ok I have a 2015 ultra limited. only has 2600 miles on it due to having 2 knee injuries in the last 2 summers. So at 15k I went through the procedure in my manual so I had 3/8 inch roughly play according to the belt tool. now at 26k I am loose again that the belt hangs a smidge lower then the belt guard window and I can push it up past the window with little effort.

Ok what am I missing? it doesn't look like I have much adjustment left on the acentric.

Who changed the tire and did you check it after that?

no tire change. Just an overall 1,000 mile check over, discovered it was loose.

So when you adjusted the belt previous did you search for the loose part of belt deflection before adjusting? Belt has loose and tight spots when rotating.

As someone mentioned above there are always loose and tight spots on the belt. Need to measure in multiple locations. I prefer the twist method opposed to the deflection method. Very easy, simply twist the belt, if you get get to 45degrees it's good, beyond 45 it's too loose, less than 45 it's too tight.
