Default Put the apes back on . . . Can't seam to mak up my mid, LOL

Well, after running the stock bars all season, I decide to re install the apes for the 3rd time. Getting pretty good at installing them, LOL - only an hour this time around.

Took them off due to some shoulder issues at the beginning of this riding season. Didn't really fix the shoulder stuff, but noticed that my butt was getting tailbone and sit bone pains. (Maybe I'm just getting old) even sprung for a new seat (it helped but didn't cure) but the one thing I know Is the backside pain started when I took off the apes.

So I will do another go around to see how it goes.

Maybe a DIFFERENT set of apes might be the answer?

my experience.... i have found a great seat that wrks for me, a corbin have had same model on 3 bikes,,, expensive trial and error, but thats behind me now, pun intended... i have found great bars... with the pull back and wrist angle and height... same brand now on second bike...i also run forward controls, with i think adds to the comfort.... so on my first harley id have issues within an hour.... now after those additions i can ride all day with zero discomfort.....14 hrs in the saddle is no problem .. the down side is that it can be expensive...but once you find what combo works....the payoff is priceless

The struggle is real. It gets really expensive to find that right combination for the perfect comfortable sitting position. For those of us who can't afford constantly switching things out we just deal with it.

I had neck/shoulder and wrist/hand pain on my new bike with the stock bars after 2 hours in the saddle so I went with new bars that I liked the style of and that I thought would solve the problem since they are 4 inches higher. No more wrist/hand pain but neck/shoulder pain is worse now at 45 mins into a ride.

My previous bike was a Dyna wide glide with 16 inch apes, no pain or discomfort.

Will be too expensive to switch out these new bars for something else so I just take a lot of alieve now when I ride!

Well if you keep taking them on and off you will get really good at it. Personally do not understand apes . But nice thing is anyone can do what ever they want to their bike
