Before you buy a new switch pack try shooting some WD40 or other lube on the little plunger for the clutch lever. I've had this happen a couple times from riding in hard rain for a while, it gets gunked up and sticks. If it's wet let it dry then lube it up.
Probably left switch pack, does the odometer button work, on the left switch pack, that switches from the odometer, miles remaining ect? When mine went, that was one of the signs
thanks guys. I am on a road trip right now. when I get home I will try your recomendations. It did start happening after riding in the rain for 5 hours.
The gear indicator is linked to it somehow.
Yes, it won't start in gear now.

Yep, rain is what did mine in on day 1. Dealer said it's a known problem. Even if your out of warranty, I would fight for a new one since it's been an issue. It will probably work when it dries out for a while, but will eventually go.
If if it starts working again dump a ton of water on it before you take it in so they can't deny you if it comes back and works.
I think we will all agree it is the left switch pack. You didn't mention your bike year - but, since you joined in 2015, I might guess the bike is a 2015 and under warren.
If so, take it back to the dealer for a replacement- but ask for an "Upgrade" to the lighted switch pack. The lighted ones didn't seem to have that issue.
It is a 2015 Limited. Is the switch pack linked to the gear indicator. I think the gear indicator not working is the reason the cruise is not working. my odometer reset is working.
