Default 21" Wheel Mod Stock Fender?

I'm running the fender spacers that came with my Reinforcer Wheel, but would like the stock fender to be a little lower. I've heard you can drill out the mounting holes on the stock fender and it will clear the 21". I'm running a 130/60 which I believe is a hair shorter than a 120/70 tire. Looking for details on the fender mod?

Just got my reinforce this week. Unfortunately NOT from Mad Wheels. They've been holding my money hostage since April. I might run a wrap style fender to get it as close as I safely can to the tire

Drilling the fender only worked on the 2013 and older touring models.
You could make the holes bigger and tilt the stock fender forward enough to clear the 21.

Don't drill anything. My tire package came with the brackets to relocate the stock fender on a 21"

I ordered mine through Eastern Performance. Wheel came mounted, internally balanced and with the brackets. Install too me 20 minutes.

You probably already know this, but use caution when moving the fender close to the tire. The tire will expand with heat and speed and can rub. Won't seem like a big deal until your paint starts to bubble from the heat. Saw it on a bike a few weeks ago.
