Wondering how many have Boardtrackers Extended Warranty? Is is good and is it better then the HD Extended. Have any used it? I'm about ready to get one. Opinions please. Thanks

 

I've been doing business with Jim on the extended service contracts for years. First on the Harley contract administered by CNA which I used extensively and now with the one administered by Cornerstone. So far I have only used the tire and wheel portion. No issues with that at all. The one he sells now is a much better product than the Harley version at a significantly better price. You can buy with confidence.

 

Extended Warranty on PARTS or the whole motor?

 

The whole bike.

 

Just used it for nail in tire. Highly recommend.

 

Purchased the Cornerstone from Jim. I've used it once with no issues other than the dealer wanting to bad mouth because I didn't have the HD one. I'm very pleased with it.

 

Same here, have only used the tire insurance so far, no hassles whatsoever. I just had to pay first and then get reimbursed, which was no hassle for me.

 

I bought the Cornerstone 4 year extended from Boardtracker last August 2016 .. .
It was better back then as my plan has no deductible, that was a non brainier back then over the Harley branded warranty as every time I need the Cornerstone I save $50 over the Harley warranty.

Thing is, darn bike has been so reliable I havent needed it but it will be no different then Harley, actually it will still be better then Harley because with Cornerstone you are allowed to get your bike repaired at ANY licensed repair shop, no so with Harley extended.

Lets also note this FACT, the Harley warranty is no different then the Cornerstone policy in that they are both third party warranties.
Meaning the Harley warranty is NOT from Harley but an aftermarket company with Harley Branding.

 

I bought the Cornerstone from Jim, price I was happy with. Haven't had to use it yet fortunately. Asked one of my local dealers about it (Sheldon's HD) after I bought it and they did the "who?" act on it. Did a ot of research before I bought it, all positive.

 

It does seem to be a better plan than the HD endorsed one, but from what I understand it can't be sold in all states, including here in FL. I think I could get around the residency part of it, but I wonder if claims would be accepted by shops here in FL?
