Road Glide Special pricing
#13
At this point in time early summer they have zero reason to deal on pricing considering that Road Glides in general are never highly stocked in dealerships at least not where i live. Street Glides on the other hand are the majority of the showroom floor here in NW Ohio. I always figured if you cant get it out the door for stickers meaning tax, title etc is covered then you got a good deal since sales taxes isn't cheap on a 24k bike. The dealer still makes a profit. Right now like i said in prime buying and riding season dealers have no need or reason to deal with people looking for a best buy. Non cash buyers which make up the majority of their sales will take a load and pay whatever it takes to get the bike in their garage.

200 more than msrp. I want 24500 but he didn't get there. I'll probably end up buying it but I'm going to give him a day to think about it

Impossible to say what a good OTD price is on a forum like this. What's the sales tax rate? Is there a b/s dealer fee? Does the dealer charge an extra freight fee over and above what the factory charges? A prep fee? Registration fee? Doc fee?
I can tell you that if someone lives in a state with no sales tax (NH comes to mind), the OTD price is going to be less than someone who lives where I do (FL). Its about 2 months until the 18s come out. You may be entering peak riding season, but the peak selling season has gone by. Shop around. Dealers will be looking to move 17s very soon.
