Trying to cut the cord
I was planning on buying a Sena Freewire and 20S so that I don't have to plug into the bike. I started with the 20S just to see how I liked it. I had my phone in the tour pak and connected the 20S to it. The phone is also connected to the bike via bluetooth, because if/when I do plug in, I can use the phone that way too.
When a call comes in, the connection bounces between the 20S and the bike. The only way I can figure to stop that is to have the phone forget the connection to the bike, which I kind of don't want to do or have to remember to do every time. Anybody see this issue? How did you resolve it?
The other problem I had is the once this happened a couple of times, my infotainment bluetooth stopped working altogether. Everything on the menu was grayed out and I couldn't select it. I had to do a reset of the system in order to get it back. Don't know if that's a coincidence or not, but I'd sure be interested to know if anybody else has seen this.

I have never mined being plugged in. Now with the Boom and Bluetooth it has become even more enjoyable to listen to music and make and receive phone calls.
If the sena unit did not have to be plugged in itself I would look at it has a huge advantage and probably consider it. But have to plug it in and mount it seems far more trouble then just plugging my headset it.
There is another good thread going right now on this same subject with good information. You may want to check that out.
Good luck.
