Has anyone installed fairing mount aux power switch - 16 RGS
#11
Kit comes with the switch, and a short harness. Both are very simple to install. The switch is two screws to remove the speedo/tach cluster, a couple of screws to remove the dummy switch and install the new switch. Plug in existing connector and done.
Then there is a small harness that plugs into the accessory connector under the side cover, which provides a pass through accessory connector that’s now switched by one of the two new switches. And a set of wires that is also switched on the new panel by the second button. The connector is rated at higher power output then the loose wires.
Install took about 20 min in total.
