Default Khrome Werks 2+2 Narrow Sweepers vs HD Reduced Reach

Hoping someone on here can give me the difference between the two. Right now, I have the Reduced Reach bars and I find myself still reaching forward with pain in my shoulders. My bike is a 2014 SGS. My son has an 07 SG with reduced reach bars (bought bike used, seen invoice) and I find it very comfortable to ride. My seat is a sundowner while his is a solo (his seat is not comfortable for my ***, so not changing seat). So basically, has anyone changed Reduced Reach bars to the Khrome Werks 2+2 narrows?

I did!
The 2+2 have a better wrist angle, and pull back a bit more so my elbows are bent more and relaxed.
The Harley bars were an improvement over stock but I still thought about it, now my seating and grip are natural and I only think about it to answer your question. We have the same bike. I have a Hammock seat and a Sundowner, the 2+2 works for both.

Just put the 2+2 Narrow Sweepers on my 16 Limited with stock seat, what a BIG difference vs the standard bars, I'm in a more upright position, my hands don't go numb any more, elbows are bent and my arms are nice and relaxed now with no more shoulder pain, these 2+2 Narrow Sweepers are AWESOME!
I can't speak of the reduced reach Bars or Seat as I've never owned either of them, but I do suggest the 2+2 Narrow Sweepers!

I just had the 2+2 sweepers installed on my bike but I haven't even seen them yet. It is hard to try them when the bike is in Arizona and I am home in Hawaii. I am in the middle of a road trip and decided to have them installed along with the 5K check before I continue my trip next week from Arizona back to Oregon. I will let you know how I like them when I get to Oregon.

Very happy with the Narrow 2 + 2's. I had the reduced reach put on my 2016 SGS at delivery and was very disappointed that did not bring my hands back enough and the wrist angle was annoying. I could not raise them high enough as the bar was bumping up against the faring. They redesigned the faring on the Rushmores but I confirmed with the factory that they had not redesigned the reduced reach bars at the time.

At any rate, the narrowa 2+2 did the trick.

Default 2+2 Khrome werks bar info.

I saw the thread on these bars and i want to put them on my bike. My question is do you have to buy cable extensions for these bars. Also do they go up 2inches and back 2inches and will they interfere with your fairing mirrors? Thanks for any help

No wire extensions needed
They will be right in the center of the fairing mirror.

With my '16 Ultra Classic, I went from stock bar to the KW 2+2 narrow sweepers and they are a great improvement. I installed them myself and bought the ~$20 wire extenders and glad I did. They are a stocking item at the dealer. I also had to dislodge the clutch hose\cable from the routing fixture on the right side just against the neck where it crosses over. Also, the clutch banjo fitting had to move just a touch. You can loosen it up just enough to twist the banjo without getting any leakage or air sucking. Between the manual, instructions from the KW site and YouTube, I got 'er done without incident.

If your in the central part of the state I have the 2+2 bars on my Limited if you want to sit on the bike to get a feeling for them.
