2016 Harley-DavidsonŽ FLHTCUL - Electra GlideŽ Ultra Classic Low
I just bought 2016 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUL - Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low From a dealer with only 900mi on it and I am not liking this thing. It does have nice response, at speed. Low speed it is clunky shudders when braking, wicked tippy. I am no newbie to riding, been riding my whole life. Last bike was 113in Stratoliner had for 11 years, but wanted a tourer. I wonder if this is typical for this bike. I have only put 100mi on so far. I fear I will lose my shirt if I try to return.
Please advise.

I think you will find that it is a very nice bike. My suggestion would be - put it on the highway or back roads and run.
I went to the Harley back in 2004 from a Wing. I was disappointed at first - but after a few days, I realized it was an entirely different bike. I suspect your are comparing it to you 1300 - whole different bike.

In your situation, I think you should first have someone else ride it who is very familiar with riding Harley's. See what they say. You could also set up a service appointment and have them ride it and see if there's anything wrong. Try to be calm and focus on one complaint. If you start talking about "everything is wrong", you won't get what you want. The technician will find other problems if there are any. So for example, take it in for service with the complaint about it "shuddering" while braking. And ask them to look it over for any other issues at that same time. You don't have to take it back to the dealer you bought it from. As a matter of fact, you may want to take it to a different dealer for this.

Like everyone said above, (except selling it), be patient. I went from a 1999 1100- cc Honda cruiser to your bike, non-lowered. The bike is approx. 200-lbs more that your old one. The brakes are way more grabby (i.e. better) than my metric cruiser. I wish I had purchased the low, but I got a smoking deal on a slightly used 2016 Limited. The bikes are VERY different.
