Same comments on road feel. Much better feel.

What air pressure are you running at??

Replaced my Dunlops with MCIIs at 12,000 miles. Only put 3K miles on them so far, but I'm very satisfied and I got them at a cheaper price than Dunlop. I won't say they are better yet. Really not a good judge of one tire being better than another. But based on my 3K miles and the cheaper price, I would buy again. Bought on line. I think I got one from Dennis Kirk and the other from Motorcycle Superstore. All together it was $302 for both tires.

Ran those on my 07 UC few sets were excellent tires but it wasn't the same for 15 Limited life was longer then stock but after half way worn traction on some sand and wet weather in the corners wasn't good.

I have to agree with everything said so far about the MCII's. Being less grippy in wet weather than some others, wear longer, better "dry" ride, less cupping, etc. A really good all around tire for the money. Got mine from Jakewilson.com Have had them on the current and past two Ultras.

Get the MC II's you will not be disappointed.. rode with mine through 4 hours of torrential downpours with no issues and had to emergency brake once on soaked roads no issues these are by far the best tires i have had on the bike so far..

I've heard the Dunlop Elite 4's are pretty awesome too, but pretty new yet.

Thanks in advance!!
He is exactly right. The original Dunlap on my bike got somewhat scary at times like, groves in roads, roads under construction, dirt roads and that dreaded 1.5 to 2" gap cracks, OMG. Commander II you can almost do the same roads with your hands off the handle bars (hypothetically).

Michelins do not have the run flat advantage like Dunlops. A Dunlop with no air pressure will still go down the road fine, almost can tell the difference in a straight line. If the Michelin gets a puncture, pull over and call the tow truck.

Got about 4000 miles on the Michellins since installed... Rear seams great but not pleased with the front as I seem to get wheel bounce in the front especially on certain roads & at higher speeds. Maybe I need to have the balance rechecked?
Prolly go back to the good ole dependable Dunlaps next time around....

Getting good mileage on my MCII’s. I have 17,545 miles on the front, it has 2/32nd now and have 19,104 on the rear and have 4/32nd. I’m happy with that. I don't know about tar snakes, I feel 'em, but these tires do handle well in the mountains. The rubber on the MCII's almost seems like surgical rubber, high quality for sure.
