Default Roadglide headlamp trim

I've got a black quartz special and thinking this might brighten up the front a little. HD site only has one review on it as it is new. Anyone seen one of these in person or installed? If you've installed it got any pics?

Thanks

May stick out like a sore thumb. That come surrounded by all that black. I have the same bike. I looked at them too. I'm going with vent screens. Red. Possibly hammered metal grey.

I was considering buying it until I saw a RG with it installed. It looks kind of like Goldwing trim to me.

Saw pictures of one painted to match, I think that looked good, the chrome one is a little gaudy for me though,,

It doesn't do much for me. I guess I'd have to see it in person.

Saw a picture of one that was painted to match the Superior Blue. Looked great. I would go with black before chrome. I wouldn't highlight it as chrome would do. Just let it be a subtle addition or have it painted black quartz to match

Not a great pic but it gives you some idea of how it looks.

Thanks for the replies. @rfg I like the idea of the mesh grills, too.

How hard was it to get it lined up and stuck on correctly? I bought it and while test fitting it seems like I'm going to have to push pretty hard to get it to stick.
