Default Freewire power

Probably a silly question but i direct wired the Freewire to my bike and did it to an always hot connection. Will the Freewire stop drawing power when fully charged or will it suck my battery dry? I know its a simple fix, but before i do I figured I would ask. I had 2 always hot power ports and they do not drain as they are not pulling any juice, but in this case probably best to go to a switch source but would love some feedback. Thanks

I would recommend going to a switched source as the always on will keep the freewire on and I would believe it will continue draw power and eventually drain your bike depending on how long it is between rides for you. I would imagine it would take a few days or so to cause an issue.

I concur with changing to a switched power supply. The new bikes have an onboard computer that is always using some power and adding to that battery draw will only lead to issue you could prevent.
