Yeah, I like it. On the Rushmore bikes, the fluid reservoirs won't allow that to fit there.

maybe the difference is i have a road glide.

Yuuup. Street Glides are different. No empty bar space next to the reservoir.

is there some bar space after the bend headed down to the fairing? you could clamp it there this thing swivels all over the place.

Yes, but then when the bars are at full lock, the mount would hit the tank/console.

RAM also makes an adapter that screws onto the front of the switch housings - it can have a ball at the top or one top and one front. I use the top ball version - mounts solidly and with the short arm/X-Grip, I can remove them quickly and you don't notice the mount at all.

I did have to buy a couple of longer screws, but that was a whole $3.00.
