Never had an issue with anything I've used from them. Chrome has held up fine over years or riding. My Grand tour bag is 6 years old. Still in great shape.
Mixed bag here as well. I won't buy their ISO grips again as they fell apart where the cables connect, but I do have the Trigger Levers which are very nicely chromed and provide a lot of leverage. I also have the ISO pegs and heel rests but am swapping them out just to change things out.
Mixed results also. "Chrome" bezels on the driving lights are plastic, and they bubbled up and peeled badly. Bought some LED turn signal lights 2 years ago, held up ok so far.
Kuryakyn is like it was said hit or miss. Some times great some times like Arlen Ness junk often in between. Read the warranty . Levers and brake pedals top of the line priced right.
I've had several Kuryakyn parts over the past 10 years and all have been great quality from the horn cover and grips to the LED light bar installed below the tour-pak of my last bike.
I wouldnt say harbor freight equal but hit and miss for me also. Some of rheir items doesn't have to correct hardware and youre on your own to supply it, customer service sucks in that regard is my experience. I wont buy anything there anymore because of it.
My first bike (not Harley) was well dressed in Kury stuff. Most seems to be fine. Highway pegs, chrome has gotten pocket marked. Big thumbs up on the comfort of the iso grips, chrome is failing but I do not know how old they are. Will likely add iso grips to my RK.
