Default Narrow Heel Shift Pad

I just added on a set of Kuryakyn 3/4" floor board spacers. Looking at the stock heel shift pad I'm wondering if there are narrower pads available for the heel shifter. The stock is 2" wide if I could find a 1" or 1.25" wide pad, the floor boards would become pretty spacious. I like to use the heel shifter when I'm stopped and locating neutral. I mainly shift with my toe both up and down. Just not sure if I want to ride without a heel lever.
If I could find a source for a shorter shouldered bolt, I could narrow up the pad as well.

I don't see why you couldn't find one at the local hardware store. If not, you can always just cut the bolt down. My thin dremel cut off wheels make pretty quick work of them.

It's a shouldered bolt. I'm going to see if I can drill it out and tap threads into the end so a small machine screw and chrome washer will retain the rubber pad.

Get a bolt and a sleeve in the size you want and then cut down the rubber pad.

I got it done. The extra room is nice, and the option for the heel shifter is still available.

Thanks, I was just looking to do that. But our hardware store sells shoulder bolts, I'll go that way.
