Default XM Radio Reception

Well, it is about 56 here in Michigan today. Earlier, I had the XM module installed but did not activate the radio - waiting for nicer weather. The XM is the one with the new antenna version.

So, today was the day. I activated it..and, it was full bars all the way. Absolute great reception.

So, if you have the old antenna, please consider an upgrade.

Yup. I attest to the new antennae. Bought. Radio with the old antennae from a friend. Reception was weak and intermittent. Upgraded to the new antennae...big improvement.

Just had the XM/Sirius installed at the dealer with the antenna inside the fairing. Full bars all the time. Super happy!

I have my antenna mounted by the vent , no problems with reception anywhere. I am running the old antenna. What's the part number on the new one ?

Part # for the XM radio with new antenna is 76000351. New antenna can be purchased seperatly. It's flat compared to a small cube, better reception inside the fairing.

Part no is: 76000221A Mine is mounted in the fairing. The new/adjusted mounting bracket is located just a little differently with the newer antenna.

I had heard good things about the newer antenna so decided to have mine installed inside. As it has been said, full bars so far.

First real trip in the end of March

Anyone have the part number for just the antenna?
