2015 CVO Road Glide Ultra, 44K miles, never closed the vents except once to test.

2017 CVO Street glide, 10K miles, closed once to test.

I always keep mind open but I flip it closed every once in a while just to keep it working good. I wonder if the type and style of windshield have a bearing on how well it works both open or closed......

I keep the Vent Open almost 100% of the time. Open or Closed I really can't tell any difference.

Every so often i close it to see if i can tell a difference. I think at 70 mph on the interstate i noticed a slight difference.

Haven't ridden in the rain, so i don't know what effect that would have, if any.

I always keep it open because there is way less buffeting. I have closed it and found out that if I duck a little the buffeting goes away. A persons height probably is a major factor on how the vent performs open or closed.

I leave the side ones open. In rain I close the top one.

I can't feel any difference either. If anything, I get more wind on me now than I did on my 07 Ultra Classic.
