Has anyone installed Nasty Hog kit painted with lights for close to 1,000 compared to what I was going to buy Factory Match, here so many great things about FM that I want to give them my order but 1,800 higher is got me rethinking things.

Factory Match is fiberglass. For the bags I'm not sure if it matters, but for the fender....

 

Sorry can't help as I've never dealt with the Nasty Hog set - I put my money on a proven product instead...

Just a fyi. I installed Nasty hog set on 2014 street glide denim black.
Paint was perfect on bags and fender came well packaged. As for the bags perfect holes drilled in all locations had to clean up holes from burrs but that's it.
Fender was a bit of a challenge had to grind off some material around back of frame for saddle bag/ chrome frame cover , what Really did not like was that the CVO lights hit the lower part of chrome bag support forcing me to have to shave the cvo lights to clear this chrome peace no other way around it a lot had to be shaved .
Think if they would have just mounted lights a 1" farther up all would have been good time will tell .
Also the rear lower stock fender bracket it not used but seams to have no unwanted flex .
For the money don't think can go wrong very nice time will tell.
