Same thing happened to me. I re-downloaded the file from the website onto a different thumb drive and it worked. Was it the new thumb drive or the 2nd download.... I don't know. No matter how many times I tried to turn off the bike and even pulling the main fuse, the radio was stuck in authentic every time I powered the head unit on until I did the above. Hope this helps.

I waited and let the gps boot up before I tried to install this last time.

D/L the file, extract file, add the file that you d/l and the extracted file on the thumb drive, you should 2 files on the drive.

If you have a Mac, then you should find a windows computer and unzip the file from a Windows machine. Then when you go to update the POI's you will need to turn on the bike and wait for the Navigation to initialize. Once initialized you can plug in the jump drive and it will update just fine.
