I'm curious if they changed the name but didn't create an actual new update. I bought & updated with the most recent update in September. I went to check on this one & it said "you have already downloaded this version." Hmmmmm.

Bump - has anyone been able to tell how current the maps are?
The current maps are simply renamed 2017 but they are actually 2015 maps. Last year i bought the map and I went online recently to get this 2017 map but it told me I already have this map.

Thanks. That's disappointing but I may still buy them. My 14 Limited has maps showing MY14 (model year 14) but they were created in '13 but the data is actually from '12.
It boggles the mind why they are so slow to have current data available.
And how many of us travelled all over the U.S. with a Rand McNally Atlas without GPS? GPS though convenient could possibly fail you and a New Atlas although requiring you to use your brain doesn't cost $200.00 smh

More than likely because the software is from some old soviet country rather than a US based company. Can't remember what country again but when purchasing the map update it has a semi legit feel to it.

Do you get your money back if you already have the latest maps, or do they keep your money?
