I bought my chrome front end when I bought my UL; it was part of the deal & I received 15% off MSRP. Since I took the bike that day, they held the parts for me & I had them installed at the 1st service. Also received a break on the install labor doing it that way.
My wife just bought a new '17 TriGlide (as of 3 days ago) & we did the same kind of deal. In this case, they are storing the bike for us till spring & installing the parts for us while it is in storage. Again bought the chrome front end; she also bought reach bars & the extended SS lines.
In both cases, on a brand new bike I felt better with brand new parts.
