How do I remove antenna studs from tour pak light bar
Nothing better to do while watching 15" of snow fall so finally going to make a template and mount the tour pak light bar on my RGS.
I want to remove both the studs in the picture (clutch side of the light) since I won't be using a tour pak antenna. I assumed they were just threaded into the light housing at first but since they move side to side I don't think that's the case. I don't want to gronk on it with vice grips and ruin the threads just in case I decide to use the antenna at a later date. Any idea how to get these off without trashing the threads or the housing?
Like I said they wiggle around so they're probably not threaded into the light housing itself. Will probably just end up double nutting each one and trying that.

Just a GUESS. I would see if #26 will unscrew from #28.

Much appreciated, I'll check the drawing and give that a shot.

Find out what size nut threads on to it and thread one on then thread another on top of the first .. put two wrenches on to the nuts and thread them opposite directions toward each other.. (thread the bottom one off as you thread the top one on) until they they jam together then use the bottom nut to turn the threaded part out.

Thanks Harttoo, that took care of the brake side. I should have noticed that when I first looked at it.
Found some spare hose from when I did my breather bypass a few years back and slipped it over the threads on the clutch side and it threaded right out.
Thanks again and ride safe.
