Default New Baker Comp installed.....rattle noise in Primary!

Need a little feedback. Installed new Baker Comp. on my 14 Ultra Limited with 25k miles. I was impressed with it until the bike warmed up. It started to rattle so bad it sounded like a box of marbles rattling inside the primary. I could pull the clutch in and the noise goes away. Took the bike to my mech. He said the noise is coming from the clutch not the Comp. He has installed many Baker comps. and has heard that same noise on many of the bikes with hydraulic clutch. The stock SE Comp. Never made that noise. I'm very DISAPPOINTED with the Baker Comp. and ready to install another SE Comp......what are your thoughts?.....thanks

I think you should have called Baker before making this post.

As mentioned above have you contacted Baker yet and asked them?

They probably know exactly what is happened and how to correct it. If not then that is a whole different thing.

Good luck and keep us posted.

No noise before. Noise after. But not in the compensator. Something is not lined up is my guess. And I'd have called Baker first thing. Also. Did you push the adjuster up? They sometimes need help. Especially if it's the stock one. I put the attitude adjuster on my Ultra. Helped quiet everything down.

I installed the Baker Comp. and the Attitude adjuster on my 2014 Limited a while back. As for my experience it took every bit of the noise out. Could not ask for a better job.

If the noise goes away when you pull in the clutch I would guess inner primary bearing.
