Working on a 16 SG Special. We put a tour pak from a 13 ultra on it. Hooked up the brake lights ONLY. And now the little red light on the dash stays on and the lights don't work. Occasionally the little red light stays off for a few minutes and the brake lights will work, but after a bit they start having issues. Would a LOAD STABILIZER help? Thanks in advance.

 

Looking in the HD catalog there are different part numbers for 93-13 and 14 and up for several items using the stop, turn, run connector. Namz or one of the other wiring adapter companies may make what you need or you maybe able to rearrange some of the pin locations in the plugsto get it all working.

 

I think 13 was the last non-Can Bus system.

are they LEDs on the tourpack?


if so maybe you need to put the CANBUS-BCM in to self learning. turn key on & turn on hazards, key off & let flash for 5 minutes, done.

 

Another vote for getting a hold of Custom Dynamics. I'm guessing that the 13 lights are incandescent and 14 up are led and causing a load issue. Possibly a load equalizer. I'd ask the experts at cd
