Default Hmm

I priced out 16" Krome works, new heated grips, braided lines and my 10k service for a touch under 2 grand. I definitely have more time than money, but after worrying my way thru apes on my RGU.. I'm leaning towards letting the dealer do it. Am I wrong by assuming that as soon as you get into the electrics, you void that portion of the warranty? I'm sure that if anything went wrong with the bike, ma Harley is going to point at the home job as the reason.

Thanks! That is what I wanted to see! I got the same ISO grips too. Like your bike color. And had s thought.... how tall are you? How does the height change feel? A big difference and improvement?

Sammer, I'm 5'9" and corn fed. These bars are a big improvement over stock for me as I don't have the neck/shoulder pain with them that I had with the stock bars. To me they seem to make the bike feel more nimble as well. They are a little wider than stock which is supposed to help with shoulder issues.

Thanks once again. That is what I wanted to hear, mainly the neck and shoulder issue. Took a 1800 mile weekend trip and tried a different seat, but still had the issues. Might have to be my next improvement... and now would be the time with the snow on the ground, salt on the roads, and temps in the low 30's with no heat wave in site.

If you already distrust the dealer, as is obvious since you refer to them as a "stealer", why did you even take the bike to them in the first place?
