Default Cover me!

Trying to do a search on this forum for the keyword "cover" returns a few too many threads to find anything helpful... So I'll just ask.

So far I've gotten two bike dust covers from Amazon that don't even come close to fitting. Both way too tight, despite saying "xxl" and "touring"...

I really don't want a cover with big orange "Harley Davidson" all over it, and I don't need something so thick it withstands kryptonite. I park in a shared enclosed parking garage with about 40 other vehicles so it generates a lot of dust and grime. It will blow off easily enough if I can ride regularly, but come winter it gets so thick it will scratch if I try and dust it off. So I want to keep the bike covered. All I need is a thin barrier, but I want it to fit right.

Can anyone recommend a dust cover they know for a fact will fit a road glide with a tall shield on it? Preferably one one of you uses and likes.

Thanks

The one that came with my bike is the bees knees. No garish colours etc, just some script in white, elastic drawstrings etc. Quality piece.
Whether it's snowmobiles or bikes, I've always had the best luck with OEM, the aftermarket just doesn't quite measure up.

They have one for touring, but $150 is a little steep. I guess it'll fit though.

I have had 2 Nelson Riggs that I have been happy with. XXL fit my full dress tourer. XL would probably fit your bikes well. Even have a grommet (sp) for your antenna.

Snug fit, not too thick--sounds like you need a covercraft Pack-lite

Oh, they have them for any bike. I just grabbed one with no orange and no logos all over it.

Don't feel bad about missing it...the Harley web site is absolute ****. Hard to find anything, search frequently turns up nothing even though it's on the site and the terms were correct. And, it's slow as hell.

I have a Dowco Guardian cover that I got from JP Cycles. Covers the whole bike from front tire, tourpak to stretched bags and rear fender. Size XL Maybe worth a look

Did you order yet? If not, do a google search for HD's cover part number 98715-85 VC

When I bought my Limited used, the seller threw in that cover for me. Since I park in a garage, I've never used it in the 15 months or so I've had the bike. I actually want the HD Oasis 1/2 cover for road trips, but damn - $110 bucks for a 1/2 cover?

Maybe you can purchase my full cover to offset my cost of getting a 1/2 cover.

Here's a review & photo of the cover to start the search.
