With previous iPhone6, I would connect with cable to media USB connector for infotainment with no problem, playing SiriusXM, Waze, etc. With new iPhone7, using cable, system apparently having issue. Only if I unplug cable, connect with Bluetooth can I listen to music, SirusXM, etc.

I've disconnected, deleted pairing, re-paired. Same problem.

Anyone having similar or suggestions to fix (No I dont want to only use Bluetooth w/no cable - I go back to iPhone6)?

 

Timely post. I will be receiving my iPhone 7 plus on Wednesday.

 

Odd.... I have never been able to connect via USB on any of my iPhones, Bluetooth only.

 

I have no issues connecting either way, with iPhone 7.

 

allow me to clarify, I have an 2016 Road Glide Ultra, with latest download version 1.20.1.

maybe a setting on iPhone, dunno as I've tried several variations.

 

No issues with my iPhone 7 via BT or USB. Using 1.20.1 as well

 

Have you down loaded the all of the songs? When you first set up a new iPhone, they are set up to stream, rather than being down loaded.

 

ALL - replaced the cable. All works completely with BT and with USB cable connected.
