The Infotainment "Accept" button
I have a 2014 Street Glide Special , that like all i think up to 2016 you have to always hit the " accept" button on the terms and disclosure or whatever the formal name is for that . i was out today and my buddy new 2017 the " accept" automatically goes away after a few seconds.
this is new to the dealer too as they weren't aware , any of the more techie inclined out there with better knowledge of infotainments than i do know if updating the software on my 2014 to the current 2017 will get rid of the annoying " accept" button ?

Upgrade the firmware to 1.20.1 from http://www.harley-davidson.com/conte...downloads.html
And you will see the "Accept" screen magically disappear on your 2014 Street Glide Special in a few seconds also.

Ringer1969 - glad it worked for you.
Does your dealer service your bike? If so, this also tell us hat the service department does not take the time to make the needed service updates when they work on your bike.
I got my 14 in September, 2013. Soon after, there was a system update. We were preparing for a ride and my service manger came outside and told us about the update. This was before I understood these sort of things.
He then pulled out his flash drive and started to update my bike and one other. I have done my own updates since then and actually carry the last two (current plus last) in my trunk
So, yes, please do inform your dealer and also suggest that he updates the bikes (may need to ask the customer first).
By the way, are you aware of how to change the screen so it is easier to see during high daylight hours? With the screen on, press the "I" button on the right hand side (the other side of the right turn signal) and hold it. You'll see the contrast change.

I updated mine the day this came out. Just so happened I had to get warranty work so I had a 16 RGU loaner. I updated that for them. When I brought it back I told them. They didn't know either. They went and updated every bike there that needed it. When my cousin bought the last 16 RGS a month later. It had the update.

This brings up why forums like this one are so useful . Weather it be simple stuff like this or major Mods. It is not possible for many to keep up on everything. Dropping in here often would alert you to updates that you may want. 1.20.1 has been out for some time now. Also checking in saved a bunch from trying 1.20.2 before they pulled it down.
Many dealers will not do a flash unless you ask, some owners get really pissed if you flash it with asking.

I'm not making excuses for any dealership but Boom is a complex system and it has gotten to a point where full-time users know more about operation of the system than many employees. For example, I had posted that I called a number of dealers asking if they would accept Harley gift cards to update my map. None had ever done a Navitextras update, didn't know what was involved and only one was willing to try.
Another example, I would often set my radio to some jukebox from hell music (Achy Breaky Heart or the Hondells: "First gear, it's all right (Honda, Honda, go faster, faster) / Second gear, I'll lean right (Honda, Honda, go faster, faster) / Third gear, hang on tight (Honda, Honda, go faster, faster) / Faster, it's all right.…" More often than not, a tech would yell, "How do you turn this off or change the song"?
