I've tried to find that post but was unable to . There are a lot of seat threads to go through because as I recall it was not on a Harley Hammock specific thread.

I spent some time yesterday trying to find that thread also and couldn't find it through the search and I remember reading it a while back.

I can't either, If i remember correctly, he took seat off, tightened the sling up, how ever its attached on bottom, , should inspect once in a while, and re tighten

ok, i found it, brought it to the top, in Touring, title, HEADS UP FOR HAMMOCK OWNERS,

My hammock seat has been feeling different for the last couple of months so I checked it after seeing this post. The hammock has slipped down. I have seen the post on the repair but I am saying there is no way that the hammock material can be pulled up like the hammock repair shows at least on my seat. I have been working at it for almost an hour. Any tips? This thing is not quite 2 years old.

It can be done. You need a pair of pliers with some grab to them though. A small pair of ViceGrips would work well. The key is to pull out and rotate upward at the same time. It took me several tries until I got the right trajectory. I wasn't sure it was going to work either and then all of a sudden it did.
