Sounds good...are you found to do air front? Good time to do it. I hear the dripseat is good for short and tall people. You'll be Able to stretch your legs, I'll be able to touch the ground flat footed. Gonna lower the fairing?
No on air front. I am installing Progressive Susp front drop kit tho. Which air front do you have? I'm not aware of a way to lower the batwing fairings.
I've got AirFx on the front and legend in the rear, instant up. Call Dave at DD Custom Cycle for the fairing bracket. Easy install. Fairing doesn't look right with the big tire if you don't drop it. I also had him fab a neck collar to hide the wires and cables that are exposed on the neck. (The fairing drops 2" and is pushed out 1.75" with the bracket, so the neck is exposed a bit more)
That bracket is for roadglides, bat wings are attached differently to the forks, not frame. I'll check on that front lowering stuff. Thanks for the info.
Sorry man, brain fart! But I would still call Dave. He will make one up for yours and sell the crap out of them. That's what he did for me! Nobody had a bracket so he just made one in a matter of days. Dave loves to fabricate!
I have some friends that I ride with and have the 180 conversion. Feedback from them is the ride is improved. Takes the bumps and potholes much better.
I just had mine installed on my 15 RG. As soon as the other mods are completed I'll have first hand experience with the ride. Hopefully in the next couple weeks!
