Default Aftermarket Rotors

The rear rotor on my 14 RK has been warped for a while now and I'm looking to replace it. While going with the stock rotor is a possibility, considering how easily it warped in the first place, I'd like to look to the aftermarket for a better choice. I really don't want to spend a small fortune on a rotor, but am looking for something better than stock. I did a search, but didn't come up with a whole lot. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Chris

I have the EBC five button floaters on the front. I think I put em on earlier this year and so far so good. The Galfer wave rotors are said to be very good, but cost more than the EBC rotors.

When you put the EBC rotors on your bike, did you have to use the stock HD spring things between the rotor and the wheel or was it a direct bolt on? I'm guessing that you had to either reuse or buy new springs.

Direct bolt on, but mine is an '08 and not sure if it's the same rotors for the '14.

OP did did you go with on this? Just ordered a 21 myself and having it set up with a single disc hub. Curious if you went the single route and if you had any issues with stopping power.

This thread is over 3 1/2 years old - who knows, if the O is around to respond to you

Guess I'll never figure out this resurrection of threads issue. OP hasn't posted since 10-31-2016.

It happens to newer forum members who are seeing posts for the first time, and it happens to people who search a topic then don't notice/pay attention to the dates of the threads their search brings up....

Every once in awhile I'll answer a resurrected thread and feel a little silly being caught by it.... but it keeps you on your toes...

I knew it was older but I was actually replying to a tread where someone was going to a single rotor set up so not sure how it ended up in this thread. I searched the forums and was hoping to get a reply from that OP to get his thoughts on the single disc set up now that he had been running it for a few years.
