Default Road 6 Customs Road Glide Standard Apes

Anyone running the Road 6 Customs, 11" Standard apes ? I literally cant find a single picture of the 11's on a Rushmore Road Glide.... Tons of 13" bars but nothing on the 11's . Please post pics and experiences with them if so. I even emailed Road 6 and they dont have any photos either .....

Thanks !

If you look at the bars on a 2016 Road Glide Ultra you get an idea of the height. The RGU has 11" bars. The pull back would be different than the Road6, but the height is the same.

How tall are you and are you comfortable with these on long rides ?

How is the control of the bike vs the stock bars ?

I tried the 11" on my 2016 RG. This was no better than the stock bars. bought the 13" next and really like those bars. Im 6'1 and was leaning over with the stock and 11" bars. Will sell my 11" at a real good deal.

No worries man. I am 6' and these work great for me. Rode them about 700 miles to Laughlin this year with no complaints. They put my hand right about shoulder/armpit height. Control is a lot better than it was with the stockers.

I also have a Mustang seat which sits me up a little higher and more forward and I am still ok.

If you take your sweet time, the swap should only take you about 2 hours or so. They have made it super easy to change bars with these bikes. The only connector you need to take apart is the TBW connector.

If your bike is a 16 you don't have to take apart the tbw. They came equipped with a one piece wire. Made it super easy.

Really? On my 15 the hand control connectors were the small 4 pin ones and they slipped right out. The TBW one was a 4 pin Deutsch connector and it wouldnt fit through either set of bars easily.

The tbw on the 16s doesn't have the dreaded green plug everyone had problems with that needed to be depinned. It's 1 continuous wire. The end of the wires fit easily through the bars.
