Need a better sounding Slip On...Cobra 909-Twins?
I have Vance & Hines Monster Rounds that I find a little too loud on the highway after an hour or so. I put in Hard Kore Quiet Baffles and while they did quiet the bike down really well, for some reason they seem to contribute to popping on deceleration (more work needed to prove this).
I came across Cobra's slip on offerings when I bought my Cobra Powerport header. They have a really well priced (found for about $300ish) 4" slip on called the 909-Twin that supposedly enhance the low end rumble but are not particularly louder. If true this is the sound I'm looking for.
Anyone have any experience with these and able too comment on them vs. stock or the V&H MRs?

Just put a set of 909's on my 14 Ultra Classic. I was running some Full Boars with a 2 in baffle and Thunder Torque Inserts. Wanted something a little deeper sound, but not loud at cruising. The 909's are slightly louder, but not so loud you can't hear the tunes at a normal level. I'm running a Rush REC-17 head pipe. Very pleased with mine.

I too have been looking at the 909s. My bike is a 2016 Limited. If I install the Header pipe, will that void my warranty? I hate that damn Catalytic Converter, but don't want to lose my warranty. Maybe just have the Cat material pulled out of the header and stay with stock?
