Default "Normal" Hot, No Load, at Idle, Oil Pressure

What is your typical Normal, Hot, No Load, Idle Oil Pressure?

MoCo has replaced the Oil Pressure reading on the "i" Information Screen on the 2017 bikes with what amounts to a Text version of an idiot light. "OK" or "Not OK"

I would guess that they have done this because showing the actual Oil Pressure has caused more customer complaints than it solves. Sort of a Too Much Information (TMI) problem for some folks.

Anyhow, in an effort to figure out what actually is "Normal" on the Wet Head Rushmore Bikes please answer this poll and then we'll all know the range that "Normal" actually is.

Please select the number in PSI that you typically see on a Warm to Hot Day when the Bike has been running for at least 30 minutes or so at an Idle. For what it's worth, mine usually reads 13 PSI. Becuase these Polls are limited to 10 selections I used increments of 2 PSI. If like me, yours is an odd number; pick the selection above or below it . . . your call.

14 psi on 2016 SGS hot idle at 1050 rpm. Now,if it was a new M8 with the idle at 850 rpm,who knows what the oil pressure is.Moco sure didn't want the buyers to know.Glad I didn't jump in a buy one with the oil pump and engine case problems some of the new owners are experiencing.

I have a 5 year ESP. I've never looked at oil pressure. It runs.

Mine is not a wethead, so disregard my only vote for 24 or more,, also my bike has been sitting in the garage for maybe 45 min.. may not have been a true "Hot" reading.. I was 25-26....

11 here. That's sitting at a redlight in Phoenix at 110°. And a lot better than what appeared to be zero on '12 FLHTC in the same temp. Figured that's why Harley riders were always blipping the throttles.
