Default Noisy brake pads

Are EBC Double H Sintered brake pads known to be noisy?

I replaced all 6. Noticed noise from front when braking right away, after a few hundred miles I hear a different but similar noise when brakes are not applied. This 2nd noice could be the tires or anything else...

My fronts sound like a swarm of locusts when I apply the brakes

Yes they are, I only use them in the rear brake.

Sintered pads tend to make grinding noises, but they stop on a dime.

replaced rear with OEM, but fronts with EBC Double H Sintered, no noise. My wife is my brake noise expert, if they squeak I hear about it. Also used the EBC's on my RK when the OEM squeaked like crazy, but no noise after I replaced with the EBC's. I did use the template from the OEM's to apply brake grease to the back of the EBC's.

I believe one of the keys is applying brake grease to the back of the brake pads. I am getting ready to replace all my pads with EBC Double H Sintered and yes, I'll be using brake grease....

EBC Double H Sintered installed on both ends 1K miles ago. No braking sounds noticed to date. 2015 Road Glide CVO.

Are the EBC pads less dusty than the stock pads? My stock pads are dusty as hell.
