Default Yet another exhust question, sorry

I have a bone stock 2015 limited low, I would like to change slip ons but want something with a little rumble, just above stock. Any suggestions? If I decat header does it give very much more sound? Was looking at Rinehardt, if put on them and decat do I have to remap? Will that make it very loud?

I know this is to personal taste but would like a few suggestions, thanks for a great site.

4" Rineharts are my personal Favs I had them on stock pipe and both V and H Dresser duels and True Duels. Im a believer in tuning to add a little more fuel to the system. I now have moved the mufflers over to my 16 Road Glide without the headpipe, Its way to quite now

I'm pretty new to the Big Twins, but pretty much felt the same as you when I bought my 2014.
I would suggest that you either decat your stock pipe, or buy a new decatted header to begin the process. You will certainly eventually need to buy a tuner also, because these things are pretty lean from the get go.
Your exhaust tone will be louder with a decatted header, might be just right for you with the stock slip-ons.... Who knows?
I tried to step around not getting a header or decatting. It just eventually ended up costing me more $ in the end.
Good luck in your process.

might as well do a stage 1 complete A/F , Tuner , Headers , And Mufflers its worth the cost IMO , and install your self keeping the labor cost in your pocket

Rush Big Louie's - Great CS and good sound.... Talk to Katfish

Keep in mind - what sounds good to me may sound like Crap to you - and if you keep the 'Cats' it can only sound so good... I have decided to leave it in to Not have to battle with the 'warranty police'

Just above stock for me is decat and Harley CVO mufflers. $200 for the mufflers from eBay. Don't bother with that expensive aftermarket stuff till you hear this.
I added a K&N filter and tuner, bike runs great for the last 2-1/2 years.

I'll throw in my 2 cents and suggest V&H Twin Slash Rounds. IMO, they sounded great on my '14 Limited with stock head pipes.

+1 on the V&H twin slash. They do sound pretty damn nice but not too loud for me.

I think Oldmike has the right setup for you. If you don't want to decat you OEM header, Cycle Shack, Super Trapp and Fuel Moto make OEM headers without the cat. Then all you have to do is choose your SE muffler.

Good Luck
