Default Daymaker install on a 2016 Road King

I can't figure out where to connect the wiring harness adapter. I should be able to unplug the stock light wiring harness and plug in the adapter and be done with it. It seemed pretty easy on my Street Glide.

What am I doing wrong?!

For the Road King, no it's not plug-n-play simple. The harness will plug into the Daymaker just fine. To connect to the bike electrical system, some splicing will be required. Not difficult, just take your time. The harness should have come with what you need to complete the splices. I used plenty of electrical tape myself and then shrink wrapped them (soldering the connections would best to avoid them coming loose, followed by tape/shrink wrap). Here is a link to the directions.

I made my own so I didn't have to cut and splice any wires. I got the parts off amazon and it didn't take long. PM me if you'd like and I can fill you in.

if you don't want to make your own adapter here isa a link to an adapter.

Scroll down to the H8/H11 to H4 about 3/4 of the page down. Works like a charm.

I hope this helps.

This is the one.

I am running a Chinese knock off and both the hi and lo were on with the stock bulb so they are on now. So far so good. Not as much heat from led as from H4 halogen.

I hope this helps.
