The 103....

I picked up my FLHTK Sept. 2013, the FIRST at my dealership and a very early release. It was the exact color I wanted and purchased it without hesitation. It has also been without ANY problems (well, the infotainment had a few initial quirks...).
No coolant leaks ever, no overheating, no clutch issues...nutt'n.
It had like 50 miles on it when I signed the papers and I'm SURE they rode the **** out of it in those miles. My test ride was 20 miles and I pushed it pretty hard! Maybe that is why it runs so good...broke it in hard.
Anyway, every time I swing a leg over this bike I kick myself for even thinking about a new M8, it runs and handles that good! And I'm at 6000' elevation, let alone sea level.
After the work I done with bling and new chrome forks and Progressive Monotubes...perhaps a CVO Limited in about 4-5 years...

I've been seeing rumors that Kawi's supposedly coming out with a ZX15 R that's supercharged and puts out around 300 HP.
If true, that'd probably "smoke" pretty much every other vehicle on the road of any kind.
If they allow demo rides on those monsters when/if they're released, count me in!

I purchased an 2016 FLTRU Road Glide Ultra one month after it re-released. My previous bike was an 2009 Road King but I have been wanting a road glide ultra for some time.
The way I look at it is my FLTRU is a one of a kind model. It is the first year of the Rushmore FLTRU and the last year of the twin cam.
The difference power wise between the Road King 96 and the the 103 HO is very noticeable. The King always seemed to be straining at 80 mph while the Road Glide doesn't even feel like it's hit its stride yet.
In fact when I first got the Road Glide I constantly would accelerate up to a speed where the bike felt like it was where it wanted to be, glance down at the speedo and it was in the mid 90 MPH range. This bike likes to run.
I'm sure the aerodynamics has something to do with But the 103 HO does everything I want it to do. Yes it does have a couple of mods, Fuel Moto 2-1-2 header, E-series mufflers, Ventilator air filter and Power Vision Tuner. But, the Road King had all of these to.
Many have said that they can see an M-8 in there future, I'm not so sure for myself. Harley is going to have to do much more than they have to get me off this bike. Unless they come out with one that is self cleaning, I'd buy that in a heart beat.
