Default New Clutch Cover For 17

Hello, I just noticed the changed the clutch cover on the 17 to the same style that's used on the brake master cylinder. Mine still seeps a little and I'd love to change it to the new style.

Part # is 3670013-0

I'm unable to locate that part number, but my clutch reservoir cover locks the same as the brake reservoir cover. Ronnies parts look up doesn't have the 17 listed.

Because I'm clueless, what's different about it? Gasket doesn't show anymore right?

Went to look at mine, and sure enough, different and starting to blister. Never noticed they were different. You can't unsee something, so now I'm going to be staring at the cover, DAMMIT! I guess I'll be shopping in the next couple of days.

It appears to be a little taller.

Yes, slightly thicker and gasket appears to be tucked in.

Local dealer told me they switched suppliers on the 17s, both clutch and brake come from same source now. Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure he said Bosch.......

The new style seem to seal better. The clutch on my 15 seeps a little but the brake does not.

The reservoir base on the 17's is also a different part # so I'm not sure if the new style top will fit on older bikes.
