I had the heated Streamliners installed on my bike several years ago by the dealer and they have performed perfectly. I agree with the comments that you really can't go past 3 for any length of time, at least where I ride. I guess maybe in a Frozen Tundra you might need more heat.
My only complaint would be that I find the grips a bit slippery if I don't have my gloves on.
