New map for BOOM! Nav finally out??

How do you actually perform the upgrade (assuming you wanted to)? I've installed the Naviextras Toolbox but when I connect my laptop to the USB port nothing happens. I'm still being prompted to connect my navigation device. I'm not sure if I have to put the
Boom! into some sort of maintenance mode or if I have a cable or laptop issue.

You do not plug your laptop to the boombox
have to use USB thumb drive
If you have not done this before follow the link and read all of the How to Guides and then read them again then follow the directions.
Then watch video on getting the finger print from your bike. The Update is Free for CVO owners

Just upgraded the NAV maps in my wife's 2011 Grand Cherokee. Same price $150. I think it's a rip off that these companies install Nav units and then they have to be upgraded more than $50 a year. If they would lower the price, more people would buy them.
Google maps updates constantly for free. Can't wait for auto/motorcycle companies to design Nav units that use Google Maps. Maybe the Nav companies will get wise before that happens.
I have no plans to update the Nav on my bike for a few years. I really don't use it to begin with except to route home if I go on a "wander" ride.
