Sort of got it,third pic from top shows glove box off a little , I was able to straighten it. Second shows the metallic in the paint although it's not a good pic. Top and bottom pics are same duh, but show color match to tank.
Hey ve3nsv, happy with your Advan bags? Straight no waves in plastic? Looks like they aren't far off from lining up with your factory fender extension. I like the look.
Yes no issue with the finish whatsoever. I had to clean the holes out for the fasteners with a step bit to get rid of some leftover plastic from the injection moulding process and struggled a little to get the screws to start on one of the latch loops but overall things went really well.
The only tools required were a couple of torques bits for the loops and latch assembly.

Buddy picked up the stretched bags and fender extension for his gray SG. The quality and paint match looks great. However, he can't get the bags and extension to line up correctly. No matter what he tries the lines are off.
Received my extended bags today. Paint match (Black Quartz) looks real good, but the plastic is definitely thinner and wavier than stock. Real problem, however, is they put the wrong pin striping on. They did it Street Glide style, but the bike is a FLHTK (Ultra Limited). Photos below show both bags (OEM on the floor).
Sent them an email already to find out about correcting/exchanging them. Will let you know how they respond...
Update: Advanblack answered my e-mail right away and said I could return these and they’d send a set with no pin stripes. Good customer service, thus far!
FYI - they can only do the SG/RG pinstriping. They’re apparently unable to do the single, thicker stripe like the UL has...
