The next Touring frame

I do believe it all started out on Harleytechtalk months ago.
There was a post (that was quickly removed by admin) by a guy in the industry that had very specific knowledge about the new M8.
Fella spilled everything about the new engines and was 100% spot on about every detail - 4 valves, 4 spark plugs 107, oil/water cooling, new primary etc, etc.
Of course no one believed him and later we saw how that played out...
So... in this post he also stated that in 2018 the touring and dyna line would be getting a new shared frame. Since his engine info was so spot on, many believe he may be correct on the frame change too.
It's the only reason I'm waiting to buy. Don't want to own a 2008 in-between bike.

I can see a frame update. its been 8 years since the frame was last upgraded. I also see an upgrade to the boom audio system. Harley despite what a lot of folks want to believe, pays attention to the competition. Indian has a 111 CI motor, Harley comes out with the 114, victory runs a 106 harley comes out with the 107. Indian has that new 7.5 audio system now, watch harley upgrade the 6.5 unit. Once you get over the pride issue, it makes sense. of course they want to one up everyone. its the nature of business. Im kind of happy that the displacement wars have picked back up.

Look at the current muscle/pony car wars with Camaro, Mustang, Challenger.
They just keep outdoing each other.
