I just put an Ultimate solo with backrest on my bike. I'm fortunate enough to live close to daytona so went over and tried a Corbin first. Seat was like sitting on a board, sat me to low and of course was very expensive. Like $800 for a solo and backrest and they don't even have them in stock. No test ride either.
Next stop was Ultimate- Put the seat on the bike and went for a 2 hour test ride.
Love the seat, sits about 1-2 inches higher than stock which is good for me I'm 6-2.
More leg room and the backrest is awesome. Free rain cover and free shipping to send my old seat home. Have 14 days to return it if I'm not happy. Great folks to deal with.
But as others have said every butt is different!

Good luck!

Rode the hammock for about 30 minutes tonight, wife and I both liked it. Moved me back about 1-1/2" and she sat lower by about 1/2". Was also narrower in the front for me, which I also liked. Not really enough of a "step" between her and I would be my only gripe about it. It's definitely gonna be hard to beat, but the Ultimate will be here tomorrow for the comparison.

Well, the Ultimate seat sits about 1-1/2" higher than stock. Lumbar support is outstanding! Front nose area is narrowed, but not as much as the Hammock. The Hammock is definitely more "plush" over the bumps, just like adding more suspension. All in all , it's a comfortable seat, but coming from a SGS I don't like sitting "on" the bike the way the Ultimate sits you, so I guess for me the Hammock wins. Wife agrees as well, she loved the Hammock

I was about to buy a Mustang Deluxe then I found the Summit.
Now I can't make up my mind. I'm leaning toward the Summit
since it has a wider passenger seat .

I have the Mustang Super Touring. The rider seat is the same as the Summit, but the passenger's seat is 14" instead of 16". It's the best seat I've ever had. I believe the reason is the width. It's about 19" wide, so it has a lot of room and the width allows for more support.

Does the width cause more rubbing on the side covers ?

Height wise, where does the summit sit you compared to stock?

Summit does not touch the side bags, no rubbing when opening them either.

Awfully close to same height. May feel a tad taller due to its width. I wear 30" jeans and have the ohlins 3-3 shocks which are taller than stock and can flat foot easy still.
