One option to have it route you somewhere, is to tell it to use an address on your "connected" phone. This means physically connected; not bluetooth. However, it always has a problem with the address.

It'll say it's missing the state...the city...or the entire address comes up blank on the GPS screen. I double check my phone and the entire address is on there in the proper place. Even United States that the GPS requires. Is there something I'm missing or a certain way the address has to be put on the iPhone? It's an iPhone 6+ if that makes a difference.

 

I have found the same shortcomings telling the GPS to use the address from my Android phone. It just doesn't work.

 

I use this feature exclusively with my iPhone 6s Plus. Also the phone is always just connected via Bluetooth.

If the GPS has a problem with the address, it will grey-out the portion which it had a problem with....ie: Zipcode or street name....

It works great for me. I have hundreds of addresses in my phone that I've used in the GPS.

 

Many times it shows every field grayed out. And the entire address is in the phone.

 

There are instructions in the BoomBox manual for loading the address book into the BoomBox.

Are you guys picking off an address off the phone or loading the address book into the GPS?

 

My phone is synced, so I pick it from the synced info. If I add a new address to my phone that I want to go to, I re-sync the address book.
